Together with Manfred Hauswirth, Dr. Tom Ritter will be responsible for the strategic orientation of the institute, key account management and customer acquisition. He has been associated with the institute for over 20 years and began his career at the institute as a student assistant. Until autumn 2019, he headed the SQC - Quality Engineering business unit at Fraunhofer FOKUS with its approximately 80 employees. Dr. Tom Ritter studied computer science at the Technical University of Berlin, majoring in “Open Communication Systems”. His doctorate on “Model-based Development of Component-Oriented Systems with Consideration of Quality of Service Characteristics” was awarded by the Humboldt University of Berlin.
