Mr. Swift (Shaowei) Liu is the President of Network R&D Department in Huawei Technologies .He is responsible for research and development of network product including: Routers, Switches, Data center network, Security gateway, Internet of things,

WIFI, WDM, MSTP, Microwave, DSL, PON, Video monitoring, etc.

Mr. Liu has rich experience in the IP technology field and 19 patents in the IP technology field.

Since joining Huawei in 1998, Mr. Liu has held a variety of roles within the company. These roles include President of the Enterprise Network Product Line, General Manager of Router SPDT, Leader of the Router Lifecycle Management Team, Manager of the Router Research & Development Team, software engineer, as well as Manager of Network Processor Research Department.

Mr. Liu holds a Master’s degree of Automation from Northwestern Polytechnical University, China.
