Wolfgang Leindecker
Vice President Sales Industrial & Corporate Marketing, TTTech Computertechnik AG
Wolfgang Leindecker is currently responsible for the Business Unit Industrial, focusing on Industrial IoT and Deterministic Networking. In addition he manages the corporate marketing activities for the TTTech Group.
Before joining TTTech, he started up and successfully established 2 new business units at Kapsch CarrierCom with a focus on Internet of Things and Transportation, as Vice President M2M und Public Transport.
Previously, Wolfgang Leindecker has gained some 15 years of experience in the IT and telecommunications field at Alcatel and subsequently NextiraOne where he was managing the overall delivery functions as COO.
Wolfgang holds a degree in Theoretical Physics from the Technical University of Vienna/Austria as well as a degree in Astrophysics from the University of Strasbourg/France and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota/USA.
IEEE TSN: The Foundation of Industrial IoT
Industrial IoT concepts driven by business management departments require standardized industrial communication, with seamless access to data from the cloud level to the individual sensor/actuator. In this presentation we will lay out why IEEE TSN, especially in combination with OPC UA, fulfills the requirements for critical machine to machine communication - not only enabling the interoperability of products, but also plug-and-play capabilities - and thus is best suited to become the common language of “Industry 4.0”
