Kick-off Event for Software Campus 2014

Christopher Krauß, project manager at the Competence Center Future Applications and Media, was selected for the Software Campus programme which aims at supporting doctoral candidates.
The Software Campus programme is a project promoted and sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Mr. Krauß is one of 38 participants in 2014 who is given the chance to implement his own IT-project. Supported by Fraunhofer FOKUS as a research partner and Holtzbrinck Publishing Group as an industry partner he will be focusing on the subject of »Semantic analyses for improvement of predictive data-mining-algorithms«.
Prelude was a Kick-Off event on September 17, 2014 in Berlin which will be followed by the official start of the two-year project on the March 1, 2015.
The Software Campus educates tomorrows IT- leaders and paves the way for excellent future career prospects. The programme combines excellent research and management practice in an innovative concept which looks at a targeted promotion and development of the assets and potential of the 38 participants. The industry partner will be offering their best leadership development courses and moreover will provide each participants with a different specialist who will guide and consult him in course of the two years.
