Dipl. Ing. Florian Schreiner is a senior scientist at Fraunhofer institute FOKUS leading the Future Internet group of the Next Generation Network Infrastructure – NGNI - competence center, directed by Prof. Thomas Magedanz. He is responsible for the management of industry partnerships and the coordination of research and development projects.He received his electrical engineering diploma from the Technical University of Berlin and is finalizing his PhD in the field of Cloud computing and NGN platforms in 2014. His major areas of expertise is Cloud computing, NFV, SOA-based service delivery platforms, OSS for NGNs as well as Future Internet research and experimentation. He has been highly active in the European Future Internet programs, where he contributed to several Future Internet Research and Experimentation (FIRE) projects and Future Internet Public Private Partnership (FI-PPP) projects. He is the author of several research papers and journals and frequently presents latest achievements in the field of Cloud computing, Future Internet, IMS, NGN and OSS for NGNs at national and international conferences.
