Abstract
Paving the Way for NFV Interoperability
ETSI, the home of NFV and Open Source MANO, is running an NFV Plugtests Programme aiming at fostering and validating the interoperability among different NFV implementations from the vendor and open source communities.
The NFV Plugtests Programme provides a continuous and ubiquitous neutral testing environment complemented by regular Plugtests events, which offer the different communities an opportunity to meet and run intensive multi-party interoperability test sessions.
The overall results, lessons learnt and recommendations gathered during the testing activities are consolidated by ETSI and reported to NFV ISG. This feedback is key to validate and improve the quality of NFV standards and reduce the gaps with existing implementations.
This talk will present an overview of the Programme, the current status in the preparation of 2nd NFV Plugtests event (15-19 January 2018, Sophia Antipolis) and future plans.
