Dr. Kim Mahler

Kim Mahler studied Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Berlin and received his M.Sc. degree with honors in 2009 and his Dr.-Ing. degree in 2016. He also earned an M.A. degree from the Berlin University of Arts and the University of St. Gallen in 2014. Kim also studied at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University and in the Bay Area, California.

Since 2010, he is with Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute HHI, working as a project manager and scientist in the Wireless Communications and Networks department. His research activities are related to the following keywords: V2X radio channel, millimeter-wave for V2X, UAV radio channel, millimeter-wave for UAVs, navigation of UAVs without GNSS and user-centric 5G innovations. He published about 20 conference and journal papers.
