Juergen Heiles has over 30 years of experience in Information and Communication Technologies from Satellite Communication to SONET/SDH, Optical Networking, Metro Ethernet, IPTV, Smart Grid, IoT and Industrial Internet. He has been involved since the late 80s in standardization at ETSI, ITU, IEEE, Open IPTV Forum, European Smart Grid Coordination Group, AIOTI and various other groups. Currently he oversees the Digitalization related standardization activities at Siemens Corporate Technologies. He is co-leader of the IoT Identifier task group in the Alliance for Internet of Things Innovations (AIOTI) and participates in IEC SEG 8Communication Technologies and Architectures of Electrotechnical Systems. He graduated from the University of Applied Sciences Koblenz, Germany.
