Dr. Valerio Frascolla

Dr. Valerio Frascolla is director of research and innovation at Intel Deutschland and serves as coach and mentor in company-related actions as well as in European research projects (Fashion Fusion, WEARSustain). He holds an MSc and a PhD in Electronic Engineering and had been working in different roles at Ancona University, Comneon, and Infineon. Valerio has expertise in mobile terminals concept engineering, requirements management, standards bodies attendance (3GPP and ETSI), project and program management, and acts as facilitator of innovation activities using agile methodologies. His main research interest is 5G system design, with focus on spectrum management, mmWaves and MEC technologies. Valerio currently participates to several international research projects serving as consortium lead for business, standardization and exploitation matters and in that role has organized several special session, workshops and panels at international conferences (VTC, EUCNC, EUCAP, EUSIPCO, COCORA, EWSN, ISWCS, WCNC).
