MARAS

The increasing complexity in the development of automotive software requires the development information over the complete lifecycle to be adequately formalized and systematically integrated as well as to automate sub-activities. Given this background the project analyses an integrated architecture information model as the core element of a strictly model-based software engineering approach. Based on a prototyped modeling environment the project studies the extent as to which such an approach can be realized by means of MDA techniques (Model Driven Architecture) and domain-specific automotive software (EAST-ADL).
