Eclipse Integrated Development Day 2010

Model-driven engineering (MDE) is on the advance. This trend is in particular supported by availability of stable and comprehensive tools and supporting platforms in particular driven by Eclipse. Due to this development MOTION initiated the first Eclipse Integrated Development Day on 12^th October 2010. The event focused on tool and process automation, integration of tools and data models during development processes and the coordination of different lifecycle activities. Main focus was the new strategic topic of the Eclipse Foundation: application lifecycle management – short ALM. Leading experts in the ALM domain as well as practitioners using Eclipse technology creating solutions held presentation and shared their experience with attendees. The Eclipse Integrated Development Day was a big success, so the event series will be continued in the next year.
