MOTION co-organizes the TTCN-3 User Conference 2007.

The TTCN-3 User Conference (T3UC) is an annual event which brings together the TTCN-3 community, to see how the language is used in both industrial and research environments, to hear about future directions, to see the latest tools and to share experiences.

T3UC 2007 is co-organized by Ericsson, Stockholm and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) and will feature tutorials and presentations from members of the TTCN-3 user community and other invited speakers.

Co-organization CONQUEST 2006 01.05.2007

Prof. Ina Schieferdecker, Head of MOTION is conference chair of CONQUEST 2006 – the 9th International Conference on Quality Engineering in Software Technology. CONQUEST is the platform for software professionals bringing together the software engineering community to discuss software quality aspects, to see how quality engineering methods and techniques are used in both industrial and research environments, to see the latest tools, to share experiences on projects and representative case studies, and to hear about future directions. This year special emphasis is given to service-oriented architectures (SOA) – how they help in engineering and assuring software quality, how they integrate with model-driven techniques and how development processes can be optimized to develop the systems efficiently and effectively based on service principles.

Co-arganization TTCN-3 User Conference 2006 18.04.2007

MOTION co-organized the 3. TTCN-3 User Conference 2006.

The TTCN-3 User Conference (T3UC) is an annual event which brings together the TTCN-3 community. TTCN-3 is a mature technology whose popularity is increasing rapidly. It is used in both small and large development projects and is seen by many as the key component of efficient and cost effective validation and testing. TTCN-3's use has extended beyond its established application of telecommunications testing into new areas such as embedded system testing and software testing in general. Co-organization Systems Testing and Validation Workshop 2006 04.04.2006

Members of the Competence Center MOTION presented two papers at the Systems Testing and Validation Workshop 2006 in Potsdam:

Cosmin Rentea introduced  "An Approach of Model-based Testing with TTCN-3: Definitions Generation for Testing of Web Services" and Diana Alina Serbanescu
talked about "Integrating a U2TP Editor with a Model Repository".

Award ITEA Achievment Award 2005 17.10.2005

The ITEA project TT-Medal on Tests and Testing Methodologies with Advanced Languages with partners from Finnland, The Netherlands and Germany has been awarded the ITEA Achievement Award 2005. The German part is lead by FOKUS.

Award OMG Technical Meeting 10.02.2005

Andreas Hoffmann has been awarded recognition as Most Valuable Chair at the OMG Technical Meeting in Burlingame, California, US, Jan. 1 - Febr 4, 2005. He is the chair of the Deployment and Configuration RTF.

Award 40th ETSI MTS Meeting 08.02.2005

MOTION is hosting the 40th ETSI MTS Meeting, March 15-17. Besides other things, the new edition of TTCN-3, the XML to TTCN-3 mapping and test patterns will be discussed. MOTION will demonstrate new results in model-based test generation towards TTCN-3.
