The Fraunhofer FOKUS SOA Lab provides the answers to questions about implementing service oriented architectures. The SOA Lab also provides a standards based development, test and demonstration environment, specifically tailored to the needs of the range of applications used in public administration and telecommunications. Particular emphasis is placed upon ensuring that goal oriented teamwork and cooperation occurs between people, processes and information technology in all phases of an SOA’s implementation.

FOKUS’s SOA Lab draws on in house skills and resources whilst integrating know-how gained from their partners in the fields of industry and administration. The SOA Lab, a vendor, product and technology independent communications and marketing platform, works together with its partners to provide solutions and new products. With its “Hands On SOA” approach it creates practice oriented scenarios for public administration and the telecommunications industry.
