myMONSTER TCS

This developer’s guide is a practical introduction to developing modules for myMONSTER TCS framework. It explores the concepts behind the framework, the tools for developing, and deploying modules.

The developer’s guide holds most of the documentation for the framework, except for reference material on the service API. For service API specifications, please visit: www.monster-the-client.org/docs/api/apps/impl/index.html 

The guide is divided into the following chapters:

• myMONSTER TCS Getting Started: is an initial orientation to installing myMONSTER TCS, setting up the development environment and running the framework from the development environment.
• Framework Topics: discusses particular parts of the framework and utility service APIs. For an overview of the framework, begin with this chapter on application fundamentals.
• Reference Implementation: is a step-by-step tutorial demonstrating how to implement a simple “Hello World” add-on module.
• Deploying: presents instructions on how to prepare your application for deployment and how to plug it on the framework when it is ready.
