OMACO - The OSIMS Management Console
The Open Source IMS (OSIMS) Management Console (OMACO) is a toolkit for OSIMS based NGNs offering:
- OSIMS Fault Management
- OSIMS Performance Monitoring
- OSIMS Traffic Monitoring
- OSIMS Resource Configuration
OMACO provides an Operations Support System (OSS) with self-healing capabilities for OSIMS, by active and passive monitoring mechanisms, Administrators of OSIMS based networks are equipped with a management system for supervising and controlling the vitality and performance of multiple OSIMS domains. OSIMS processes and configurations can be accessed and modified from a single access point. OSIMS faults are detected within seconds, self-healing measures conducted and upon persisting outages emails are sent to defined contacts.
