Dynamics for Internet services onboard the vehicle
Traffic systems and mobile Internet services have one thing in common: the dynamics of their use is difficult to predict. How the available bandwidth of the data channels can be adjusted flexibly to meet the requirements of the mobile Internet with the help of the LTE-Netzen (Long Term Evolution) is being demonstrated by Fraunhofer FOKUS and mobile service provider Vodafone. Supported by the Technische Universität Berlin, the partners have developed an innovative control infrastructure. In the future, this should help applications make the best possible use of new LTE networks in vehicles. The prototype will be presented in the Vodafone Test & Innovation Center Düsseldorf at the closing event of the BMBF project CoCarX on 25 May 2011.More Information
