The main idea of this panel is to discuss where LTE and the EPC technologies stand today and what challenges have to be mastered to go for commercial deployment.

• What future wireless broadband multimedia applications will accelerate Next Generation Mobile Network adoption?

• Will voice over LTE be a show stopper?

• Will the Next Generation Mobile Network killer application be QoS for OTT internet service providers?

• What is the relationship between the NGN and Next Generation Mobile Network architectures? Is 3GPP taking care for harmonization?

• Can there be an LTE rollout without an EPC deployment?

• Will there be an Next Generation Mobile Network without IMS?

• Is the EPC going to make IMS obsolete in the future?

• What are the key alternative service platforms besides IMS?
