Dear FOKUS family, friends of FOKUS, IMS/NGN/converged services experts, ladies and gentlemen,

with great pleasure I would like to cordially invite you to the 4th International FOKUS IMS Workshop “Challenges and Opportunities in a Converged Services World - an Update on IMS, IPTV, SDPs, SOA and Web X.0” in Berlin, Germany on November 6 – 7, 2008.

A lot of things have happened after our last event in terms of global IMS roll outs and NGN deployments and I am convinced that up to the workshop itself important findings and results can be reported.

Impressed by the great interest in our last year events, in which around 300 people from more than 29 nations attended our workshops and we unfortunately had to close the registration already four weeks prior the events, we strongly advise potential participants to mark their calendars and to register as soon as possible to secure their seats. The conference facilities here at FOKUS have this 300 participants limit.

Whether you are already part of the family, or whether you may plan to attend this event for the first time, I am convinced, that you will enjoy two interesting days at FOKUS, where the ongoing convergence of telecommunications, internet and entertainment can be touched and experienced.
