  • VITAL++
    End of the project: 31.03.2011

    VITAL++ major objective is to combine and experiment with the best of the two worlds, namely, IMS-like control plane functionality and P2P technology giving rise into a new communication paradigm that will bring a wide range of benefits. The key to achieving this objective, is to put this paradigm under strenuous experimentation, carried out under realistic network conditions using popular applications.

  • C-CAST
    End of the project: 28.02.2010

    The main strategic objective of C-CAST is to evolve mobile multicasting to exploit the increasing integration of mobile devices with our everyday physical world and environment. Thus, C-CAST will provide an end-to-end context-aware communication framework specifically for intelligent multicast-broadcast services to deliver context-aware multimedia content to a set of users efficiently.
