Transfer in Berlin to the Venue of the Fraunhofer Institute FOKUS (formerly ISST Berlin)

By car
From the northwest:
Take the A11 motorway in the direction of Berlin-Zentrum till the exit no. 8, Kaiserdamm-Süd. Follow the signs to Kaiserdamm-Süd. Go on Messedamm. Turn right on B2/B5 Kaiserdamm. Go on till the roundabout at Ernst-Reuter-Platz. Take exit Hardenbergstraße. Follow Hardenbergstraße until you reach Steinplatz.

From the north-east:
Take the A114 motorway in the direction of Berlin-Pankow/Berlin-Zentrum. Continue on B109/B2/B5, Unter den Linden, Straße des 17. Juni untill you reach the roundabout at Ernst-Reuter-Platz. Take exit Hardenbergstraße. Follow Hardenbergstraße until you reach Steinplatz.

From the west and south-west:
Take the A115 (Avus) motorway up to Dreieck Funkturm (Radio Tower intersection). Proceed on A 100 motorway in the direction of Wedding/Hamburg till exit no. 7  Kaiserdamm. Continue in the direction of Knobelsdorffstraße. Then turn right into Sophie-Charlotten-Straße and turn left into Kaiserdamm. Proceed to the roundabout at Ernst-Reuter-Platz. Take exit Hardenbergstraße. Follow Hardenbergstraße until you reach Steinplatz. 

From the south:
Take the A113 motorway Berlin-Grünau/A113 Berlin-Zentrum. Go on the A100 till exit no. 7 Kaiserdamm. Continue in the direction of Knobelsdorffstraße. Then turn right into Sophie-Charlotten-Straße and turn left into Kaiserdamm. Go on till the roundabout at Ernst-Reuter-Platz. Take exit Hardenbergstraße. Follow Hardenbergstraße until you reach Steinplatz. .

By train
Regional trains and long distance trains serve the Berlin Hauptbahnhof (central station). Take the S-Bahn to the station Zoologischer Garten. From there, take the bus no. 245 or the M45 to Steinplatz or go by foot. The walk will take approx. five minutes.

By Plane
From Berlin-Tegel airport (TXL) take the bus X9 to Ernst-Reuter-Platz. Then continue with the bus no. 245 or the M45 to Steinplatz.

From Berlin-Schönefeld airport (SXF) take the S9 in the direction of Bahnhof Spandau, get out at the station Zoologischer Garten. Then continue with the bus no. 245 or the M45 to Steinplatz.
