Girls‘ Day – The nationwide day of future for schoolgirls – 26.4.2012
Fraunhofer FOKUS, the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems, develops and researches communication systems, applications and IT infrastructures at its headquarters in Berlin. The Institute’s research activities are focused on developing cross-domain and cross-organisational networks as well as interoperable, user oriented solutions for the application areas »Smart City« and »Public Space«
In developing communication solutions, Fraunhofer FOKUS relies on its expertise as a competent IT research partner in the telecommunication, automotive and media industries and in the public sector.
On the Girls’Day 2012 we invite interested schoolgirls to get an impression of our applied research in the field of “The City of the Future”. We present recent developments of non-linear video and the new identity card with its application possibilities .We offer technology to participate in our eIdentity-Lounge:
