ModelBus Technology: Smooth Operation at the Airport

Chaos at the airport? The more sophisticated software systems are, the more intractable and error prone they become.  At airports in particular, where immense amounts of data are processed, the connection between various application systems is necessary to assure the optimal operation of daily functions.  The experts at Fraunhofer FOKUS are developing an open development platform to meet exactly this demand for the EU project Modelplex.  The ModelBus, developed for this purpose by Fraunhofer FOKUS, enables the integration of special tools as well as the automation of development and testing processes. FOKUS will be introducing the newest developments in ModelBus Technology from 1 to 3 March 2011 at Embedded World in Nuremberg (Halle 11, Stand 203) as well as at the ICST 2011 in Berlin.
