ICST 2011 – Software Quality: The Basis of Functioning Systems

Software bugs are lurking around every corner: Just this past year, thousands of people overslept due to a programming fault in the alarm feature on their mobile phones. These problems could have been avoided using effective software management techniques. For the purpose of discussing the current state of technology and the possibilities offered by high quality software development, the fourth IEEE International Conference on Software Testing, Verification and Validation (ICST) will take place in Berlin from 21 to 25 March 2011. The ICST 2011 brings international researchers and practitioners together in numerous workshops and presentations. Fraunhofer FOKUS and the Karlsruher Institute for Technology are taking the general chair.
