Fraunhofer FOKUS Establishes Center for Interoperability

Collaboration in today’s electronic world is done through the exchange of information and the execution of business processes within complex ICT-systems. This requires an interoperable interaction of all components. Fraunhofer FOKUS has many years of experience in the field of interoperability. At the newly established Center for Interoperability, the different competencies by Fraunhofer FOKUS are bundled. Among the topics are eGovernment, IPTV and rich media, open service platforms based on converging heterogeneous network technologies, Car-2-X communication, next generation internet, identity management and cloud computing. The Center enables the public sector and industry to develop and test interoperable solutions in a neutral environment.
