Second “W3C Web and TV Workshop” Comes to Fraunhofer FOKUS

How can you optimize the Internet as well as applications for Television sets? How can you take data from your TV and transfer it to various end devices? How can you do this without losing quality? These questions are the focus of the second “W3C Web and TV Workshop,” which is taking place on the 8th and 9th of February 2011 at Fraunhofer FOKUS in Berlin. Just as was the case at the Media Web Symposium 2010, this workshop offers developers, scientists, and representatives involved in the consumer electronics industry a forum where they can exchange ideas. Other topics for discussion include the prevalence and standardization of new Web technologies including HTML5, Interoperability and Digital Rights Management. Registration along with a Position Paper needs to be received by 7 January 2011. The workshop is limited to a total of 80 participants.
