www.DOCAMPUS.de – The continuing education platform for doctors goes online

Continuing education is a must for doctors. However, the right training programme or seminar is often difficult to filter out. Fraunhofer FOKUS and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für ärztliche Fortbildung mbH have teamed up to develop the DOCAMPUS Platform. Here, doctors can quickly and easily find the right continuing education event on the Internet. Using a content management system, information dispersed throughout the internet about continuing education events is found, labelled with keywords, made searchable and stored in a database. Studies, interviews, medical products and new treatments are also made available. The application will be introduced at the MEDICA trade show in Düsseldorf from November 17 to 19, 2010.
