Media Web Symposium 2010: Success on the International Stage

On 4-5 November 2010 Fraunhofer FOKUS turned into a Mecca for researchers and users of future communication technologies. The Institute opened its doors for the FOKUS Media Web Symposium 2010. Numerous experts from 17 countries discussed current trends in the field of mobile applications, Web 2.0 and Hybrid TV. Approximately 180 participants attended the two day symposium, which consisted of technical workshops, tutorials and presentations. Of particular interest for many attendees were the cross-platform applications being offered to users and suppliers. Due to the event’s tremendous success, planning for the next FOKUS Media Web Symposium in 2011 has already begun.
