Kick-off of the Russian-German Centre for Interoperable eGovernment Systems

The planned founding of the Russian-German Centre for Interoperable eGovernment Systems in St. Petersburg, Fraunhofer FOKUS and the SPIIRAS Institute at the Russian Academy of Sciences as well as the State University for Information Technology in St. Petersburg will establish interoperable and innovative eServices for the Russian sphere. At its core will be the eGovernment lab in St. Petersburg. Researchers there will develop secure, cross-border eGovernment solutions for IT-based administrative processes. The project will be supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Fraunhofer Society.
