Fraunhofer FOKUS receives the TeleTrusT-Innovation Award

Privacy-enhancing technologies to protect users’ personal data are gaining importance in the virtual world. Fraunhofer FOKUS has received the “TeleTrusT Innovation Award 2010” for increasing data protection by combining the new Federal German eID card with the Microsoft technology U-Prove. Jens Fromm accepted the prize at the ISSE-conference, which is awarded annually to especially innovative and trustworthy IT applications.
