FOKUS MEGASTORE: One platform for all

Apps have become bread-and-butter to our modern everyday life. So far these applications can only be purchased over special stores for certain devices and operating systems. Fraunhofer FOKUS presents the FOKUS MEGASTORE at IFA 2010 in Berlin, TecWatch hall 8.1.
Within this store one and the same application can be offered across all internet-enabled screens for the first time – including mobile, PC and TV. So far app-store operators and application providers have to code, conduct and produce for a specific device.
The main principle now is to have one platform for all devices in order to simplify these processes.
