The stopover of the Fraunhofer Truck on June 23rd in Berlin was sensational. Almost 3,000 visitors attended the Fraunhofer FOKUS Test and Demonstration Center for the New Identity Card in order to gain insight into future application scenarios with the new card. Among the guests was Kerstin Liebich, Undersecretary of State for Integration and Work, and District Mayor Christina Emmrich. The researchers of Fraunhofer FOKUS presented future research projects within the context of a training fair of the Federal Employment Agency. In addition, the visitors could obtain information about apprenticeship training positions.
