Fraunhofer FOKUS and Microsoft present a combined project at the RSA conference

The protection of the privacy of citizens is very important where sensitive data is concerned. Because of this Scott Chaney, Vice President Microsoft, presented a combined project from Microsoft and Fraunhofer FOKUS at the international RSA Conference in San Francisco to 10,000 security experts. In the project the U-Prove technology from Microsoft is combined with the innovative functions of the new identity card in order to integrate data without having to re-enter it several times. The technology provides the option to transmit data selective. This means that in a transaction only the relevant data which is needed for identification will be transmitted.
