CeBIT 2010: scenarios for the new identity card

The countdown is on: on 1st November the new id card will be introduced. What kind of services are available for the new document? How does the public administration benefit from it? What are the benefits for industry? Fraunhofer FOKUS will provide technical and organizational information about the new identity card at CeBIT 2010 which takes place between 2nd and 10th March in Hanover. The experts will introduce technical components such as Citizen-Client and eID-Server. They will demonstrate application scenarios such as age verification and address verification. The institute will also give first insights on how the document can be used inside a car.
