Curriculum Vitae

Christian Fuhrhop received his diploma in computer science from the Technical University Berlin in 1987. From 1988 to 1992 he worked as a scientist at Fraunhofer FOKUS, an activity to which he returned in 1996. At Fraunhofer FOKUS he has mainly participated in EU-founded projects, such as IMMP, NexTV, ICE-CREAM, mCDN, Content4All, ethnoArc and SAMBA. He was also involved in developments for industry founded projects. In recent projects the main focus of work was on content management systems and applications for metadata rich environments.
