As a research associate, Christine Hennig coordinates projects of the Nationalen Forschungsdateninitiative (National Research Data Initiative) focussing on data science and artificial intelligence.

She has over 30 years of experience in computer science with a focus on science support and is committed to supporting more women in IT.

She specialises in software development for research data and knowledge management. She is particularly interested in their availability, preservation and utilisation for the common good.
