Bruno CHATRAS is a senior standardization manager at Orange Labs Networks and a member of the Orange experts' community on Future Networks. He is the Chairman of the ETSI Technical Committee on Network Technologies (NTECH) and a Vice-Chairman of the ETSI Industry Specification Group on Network Functions Virtualization (ETSI NFV). Bruno joined France Telecom / Orange in 1985 where he started his career by developing GSM standards. Since then he held several management positions within Orange where he led the Intelligent Networks R&D Unit and has been Vice Chairman of the ETSI Technical Committee on NGN (TISPAN) and ITU-T Rapporteur for Intelligent Networks. 

This presentation will review the options available to the industry to map 5G Network Functions defined by 3GPP to NFV constructs such as VNFs, VNF components, Network Services and Virtualization Containers.

This presentation will provide an overview of Orange’s activities to prepare for the first 5G roll-outs and beyond.
